1-99 OSRS Mining Training for 2022

Mining is a talent that allows you to acquire gemstones and ores that help you develop a variety of skills. It's a collecting skill so the items you gather when you learn it can net you a lot of money. This OSRS mining guide, we'll discuss both pay-to play and free-toplay optio

Free-to-Play Mining Training

To kick things off here are the pickaxes that you will be using throughout your training. The same pickaxes are used for each of the F2P and P2P worlds. However when you become an active member, you'll be able to unlock a few additional pickaxes that will assist you in gaining more speed. If you want to save money on membership , we recommend purchasing a bond using OSRS gold and if you require the gold you need, buy it from Ezrsgold. I also suggest checking out our F2p money making guide.

199 P2P Mining Course

Levels 1-37 Questing

P2P is a great alternative to F2P. One of these being the fact that it offers more quests.

There are plenty of mining-related quests that will give you experience. Here are six quests you need to record and finish:

Doric's Quest

The Lost Tribe

The Dig Site

Plague City

The Giant Dwarf

Yet Another Slice of H.A.M.

The quests are all minimum requirements for level, whether it's Combat or not. If you can complete them, you'll raise your Mining level down to just under level 38. More quests give out Mining exp, but the requirements increase significantly. The success of these quests will be contingent on the player. But 37 is an advantage to get a head start.

Levels 37-40/37-45/37-70/37-75: Iron Ore

Even in P2P iron ore is an excellent training method. How long you stay here is dependent on how proficient you are with tick manipulation. If you're proficient in tick manipulation, you can leave after reaching 45 Mining. If you're not so good at it, you should stay for 70-75 Mining. If you're interested in profit it's possible to leave once you've reached 40 Mining.

The Al-Kharid mining spot is still well. Once you hit level 60 Mining, go to the P2P section within the Mining Guild. It's right next to a bank chest, and the respawn rates are much higher than at Al-Kharid.

Prices for exp rates differ based on your skills in manipulating ticks. If you don't employ manipulate your ticks then you're experiencing 45,000-50,000 exp/hour. If you use three tick manipulation you could be able to achieve approximately 80,000 exp/hour. The manipulation of ticks is difficult to master, and tedious to utilize, but worth the effort if are looking to increase efficiency.

Levels 45-99 Levels 45-99: Granite

Only use this method if you're good at tick manipulation. Otherwise, it isn't worth it.

Granite mining will take you to the desert, so you need protection from the desert heat. The ideal is an Desert amulet 4 because it will protect you completely from scorching desert temperatures. Acquiring it requires the completion of the Elite Desert Tasks. Most likely, someone who has 45 Mining doesn't have completed those tasks.

Make your way to the Quarry and start working. In level 45 Mining, you will earn between 65,000 and 70,000 exp per hour using tick manipulation. At level 70, you could earn around 85,000 to 90,000 per hour. At level 90 and beyond, exp rates can soar to 115,000-130,000/hour. But again it's only with three-tick manipulation. Without it, don't be expecting to see anything more than 60,000-70,000 dollars of exp an hour. And there's no reason to come here for those exp rates.

The levels 70 to 99: Volcanic Mine

If you're looking to get better exp rates, head for that Volcanic Mine. You'll need to do some things before you go. It is necessary to complete this Bone Voyage quest and have at least 150 kudos from the Varrock Museum.

You should also organize a Museum Camp located on Fossil Island and claim at least five unidentified fossils from Peter. It is also recommended to bring an experienced team who know what they're doing, or your rates of return will be affected. World 323 is the official world for Volcanic Mine.

There is a possibility of achieving 65,000 to 75,000 exp/hour when using a dragon or crystal pickaxe at level 70 Mining. I strongly suggest using getting a crystal pickaxe after you reach 90 Mining since the gap in exp in comparison to the Dragon pickaxe will become significant.

When you reach level 90+ in mining with a crystal pickaxe, you'll get between 90,000 and 40,000 exp per hour. Profits will be only in the 200K-300K/hour range However, you're here to enjoy the adventure.

Zones 75-99 Blast Mine

Before you can use the Lovakengj Blast Mine, you need 100% approval from Lovakengj. It is necessary to have at least 43 Mining to play this mini-game. As you may have guessed by the name, Blast Mine is about explosive mining. You'll be using dynamite, tools, and tinderboxes. It's fairly click-intensive and requires attention, and uses up a lot of energy. If you're here without a graceful outfit isn't a good time. If you play efficiently you could earn 55,000-50,000 exp in an hour at 75 Mining. From level 90-99, the rates are between 65,000 and 75,000 exp an hour.

The Blast Mine has the unique feature of allowing players access to rock ten levels before the level requirement. The reward from this minigame only starts with 75 Mining, which is the minimum requirement for access to runite. I wouldn't suggest playing before. You can expect to earn between 300-400K GP per hour. It's not as efficient as gems, but the exp rates are better when tick manipulation isn't your choice.

Between levels 40 and 99 Gem Rocks

The other methods are less about optimal exp and more about profit, AFKability or both.

Gem rocks are in fact the most effective method of mining money in OSRS. If you're skilled at tick manipulation and balancing, it's the ideal way to learn between profits and exp rates.

The most ideal place to mine gem rocks is in Shilo Village. It is necessary to be able to complete all the Shilo Village Quest to access their mines. You should have completed all of the Karamja Hard Diary and have a gem bag of the Motherlode Mine. I'll be operating under the assumption that you've finished the diary.

Make your way to go to the Shilo Village Mine underground and take a trip to town on the rock gems. Level 70 Mining and below is where you can anticipate exp rates of around 40k/hour, with no control of the tick. When you reach level 80, the rate increases to around 50,000, and at 90+ levels, this increases to 60,000. There's a bank's deposit box down here. Complete your inventory, and gem bag Deposit your gems and then repeat. The average profit is 600-800K GP/hour. Not bad at all.

Through tick manipulation, profit per hour and exp rates go up. You can earn as much as 80K per hour by using this. Combined with the profit, you have an excellent training technique. If you'd like more pets for the account of your choice, Mining gem rocks is the most efficient way to acquire the rock golem Mining pet.

Levels 70-99/7299: Motherlode Mine

Motherlode Mine in Falador can provide you with a motherlode of GP when you go there immediately you've gained access to it up to level 30 Mining (I do not recommend it as the exp rates are ridiculous at this point). It's helpful to have 54 Agility and complete all Falador Medium Diary Tasks for access to a useful shortcut.

To get the most value from Motherlode Mine first requires unlocking the higher level. You can achieve this by paying a one-time fee of 100 gold nuggets Prospector Percy. Additionally, you need to purchase 72 Mining in order to get access to the higher levels.

The levels of exp don't look great in spite of higher levels (Especially if you don't have an instrument made of crystal). The benefits of Motherlode Mine are the profits and the relaxed feel of the mini-game. Most high-level Mining training methods tend to be sweaty. Motherlode Mine is something you can play at a relaxed pace.

As you progress to level 70 at level 70, you should expect to earn around 30-40% exp per hour. This is the training method that can yield around 50,000 exp/hour. It's not a huge amount of work, but you can make a ton of GP over the long-term. Prospector Percy is also home to a number of important items to purchase such as the gem bag, coal bag, or Prospector kit parts.

Levels between 92-99: Amethyst

Have you been doing a hardcore grind up to 92 Mining and seeking a break? Say hello to amethyst crystals.

Amethyst is exclusive to members of the Mining Guild. To get the most out of it, you must complete the Elite Falador Diary. After doing so, speak with Belona to gain access to an amethyst mining area west of the bank chest.

Sit back, mine the wall, and then take it easy. Amethyst mining is to mining what redwoods are for Woodcutting. It's very AFK. It's earning a decent amount that is between 350K and 450K.

The rate of exp is nothing to be proud of. You'll get between 20,000 and 25,000 dollars per hour in this. But you aren't doing this for the experience anyway.

Levels 10 to 99 Crashed Stars

Did you remember the celestial ring I mentioned at the beginning of this article and the steps to get it? Well, that activity is perfect for the most casual of miners.

Crashed stars can be the most straightforward and intricate training method listed on this list. Before you start any form of training, it is necessary to complete the initial one. Participate in the Shooting Stars grouping chat to get a better understanding of this. Shooting stars crash landing around once every 2 hours. You'll require access to a variety of ways to travel to be able to do this efficiently.

It's best if you had at least level 10 Mining to mine a crashed star , and up to 90 Mining for the most powerful stage. When you locate one, it's just an issue of mining it. Based on the number of players who are mining with you it is possible to make a star crash for only a few minutes or up to half an hour. The exp rates and profit are equally terrible. If you're level 70+ in Mining, it's an excellent day to earn 15,000 to 20,000 exp an hour. I would only recommend this to players that want to periodically take a ride on OSRS all day long and get some Mining training done.

Training Mining Isn't For Everyone in OSRS

For me, Mining is probably the most difficult skill to train in OSRS, this is true for both P2P and F2P. Neither the best exp rates nor the best rates of GP/hour are especially great, comparatively speaking. And it's so boring. The most trouble in achieving 99 Mining for me is keeping the drive to work towards it. However, if you are able to persevere, you can feel satisfied knowing that you've accomplished one of the most difficult achievements in OSRS.

I'm sorry to say that, but if you'll let me, I'm planning to do some Mine within RS3 to remind myself that mining isn't horrible in OSRS.
