This TBC Classic Enchanting Leveling Guide will provide you with the fastest and most efficient method to improve your Enchanting skill between 1 and 375 Burning Crusade Classic.

If you still haven't decided about your second profession, I think Enchanting works well with Tailoring as there is no need for a gathering profession to support either of them as well as you can make use of Enchanting to de-enchant products you created using Tailoring. Inspiring trainers

You can learn Enchanting by interacting with any of these NPCs below. Click on any of the links to see the exact location of the trainer. You can also go up to a guard in any city of importance and ask them where the Enchanting Trainer is, and then the trainer will be identified by a red marker on the map.

Classic trainers (1-300).

In Burning Crusade Classic, you can learn Journeyman, Expert, and Artisan Enchanting from trainers in every major city. There is no need to visit different trainers anymore.

TBC Trainers (300-355)

Horde: Felannia in Hellfire Peninsula at Thrallmar. She is "behind" steps on the top of the tower, perched on the cliff. The way 52.2 36.0

Alliance: Johan Barnes in Hellfire Peninsula at Honor Hold. He's on the second level of the Wizard's Tower on the cliff lying on the ground behind an open bookcase. /way 53.6 66.0

Leveling TBC Enchanting

Blood Elf characters have +10 Enchanting ability due to their passive Arcane Affinity. You can save plenty of gold by making low-level recipes to earn an additional 10 points.

Copper Rod is available from Trade Good, Trade Supply and Enchanting Supply vendors, don't buy the rod from the Auction House. They are usually close to your instructor in someplace.

Two recipes are available to purchase: Formula: Enchant Bracer-Lesser Strength or Formula: Enchant Cloak-Minor Agility from Kulwia, (Horde), in Stonetalon Mountains or Dalria, (Alliance) located in Ashenvale.

The recipes are available in a only a few copies. They can only be respawned in the event that someone else purchased the recipe. The respawn timer ranges from 30-50 minutes, though I'm not sure of the exact number. They can also be purchased in the Auction House.

25x Enchant Cloak: Minor Agility - 25 Lesser Astral Essence

If Astral essence isn't affordable for your realm You can make use of this recipe to create tiny Glimmering Shards.

28x Enchant 2H Weapon - Small Impact - 112 Strange Dust, 28 small Glimmering Shards

It's possible to get as high as 270 if you can find a cheap purple lotus.

Lorelae Wintersong sells Formula: Enchant Cloak-Superior Defense in Moonglade at Nighthaven.

It is possible to continue making Enchant Shield: Greater Stamina if you have a lot of dream dust, or if Illusion Dust is really expensive.

Burning Crusade Classic (300-353).

You can learn the new TBC Enchanting ability in Hellfire Peninsula from Felannia (Horde) at Thrallmar and from Johan Barnes (Alliance) at Honor Hold.

6x Bracer-Brawn - 36 Arcane Powder

If you own Illusion Dust or it is less expensive than Arcane Dust, you can make Enchant Cloak Superior Defense. The recipe is near turning green so the chances of earning skill points are less.

This recipe will be yellow from 20-30 minutes, so you might need to make additional.

If 100x Arcane Dust is more expensive than 20x Greater Planar Essence then you need to create a Chest - Major Spirit between 320-330.

330 - 335

5x Shield - Major Stamina - 75 Arcane Dust

Madame Ruby sells the recipe at Shattrath City. It is recommended to purchase Formula: Superior Wizard Oil while you are there. These items are not in supply , so you'll need to wait until they come back. (5-7 minutes)

Alternate recipe:

6x Chest - Major Spirit - 12 Greater Planar Essence

It is possible that you will need to do a few more to reach 335.

Blood Elf Only 335 - 345

There is an alternative really inexpensive method to get the 335-345 component, however only Blood Elves can benefit from it.

Their passive racial ability Arcane Affinity gives them the ability to gain ten skill boosts. They can turn the Large PrismaticShard into three smaller Shards and then back again.

This only affects the conversion of one Large Prismatic Shard into three Small Prismatic Shards. This means that you'll only have the chance to increase your skill levels half the time (since the other half of the time you'll be returning to three Small Prismatic Shards). You will not be able to gain skill points for all crafts because the recipe is gray. There's a slim chance of you earning skill points. The 10 points of skill will be granted to you in 10-15 minutes.

The Formula: Large Prismatic Shard is offered by these NPCs, the Small Prismatic Shard recipe is taught by your trainer.

335 - 335 -

5x Shield - Resilience 5 Large Shards of Prismatic Shard and 20 less planar Essence

You can continue to make Shield with Major Stamina if Large Prismatic Shard is too expensive.

350-340

15x Superior Wizard Oil- 45 Arcane Dust, 15 Nightmare Vine, 15 Imbued Vial

Madame Ruby sells the recipe at Shattrath City. It's already yellow once you've learned it, which means you might need to make a few more.

You can buy Imbued Vials from trade supply or alchemy supply suppliers.

Alternative recipe:

Create more Shield Resilience, or change to the next recipe if don't have Nightmare Vine.

350 - 360

15x Enchant Gloves - Major Strength - 180 Arcane Dust, 15 Greater Planar Essence

1x Runed Adamantite Rod- 1 Adamantite Rod ( 1 Primal Might) 8 Greater Planar Essence and 8 Large Shards of Prismatic Shard

The Formula: Runed Adamantite Rod is available from Rungor in Terrokar Forest near Stonebreaker Hold, and by Vodesiin in the Hellfire Penninsula in the Temple of Telhamat.

It is possible to make the Runed Adamantite Rod at 350 too. It is still possible to make the Runed Adamantite Rod with 350, however it's not a guarantee of skill points. The recipe for Gloves is close to turning green, which means it has a lower likelihood of giving you skill points.

12x Enchant Ring - Spellpower - 24 Large Prismatic Shard, 24 Greater Planar Essence

The Formula: Enchant Ring - Spell Power is sold by Alurmi at Tanaris. It is required to be a member of the Honored reputation in the Keepers of Time faction.

It is also possible to make Formula: Enchant Ring - striking if you're loved by the Consortium faction. Sold by Ythyar in Karazhan prior to the Chess Event.
