REAL WEDDING Q&A: LIZZI & TYLER

Southern girls always understand how to tug at our heartstrings, therefore it is no surprise that Lizzi found her romantic bridesmaids' dresses at FeelTimes!

How have you met your Fiance?

I was in school at the University of Alabama and Tyler was interning in a church in Tuscaloosa. I met him at a prayer night at the church he was leading. I loved how he lead and his passion for that Lord.

Tell us concerning the proposal!

A couple of months before Tyler proposed, he took employment in Little Rock, Arkansas. I had not seen him for some time and he was planning for a trip to Tuscaloosa. I became so excited and desired to surprise his whole family! He drove 6 hours during the night and at 8 am I heard a knock on my small door. Tyler had arrived early for his weekend home...having a whole day planned! We visited our favorite restaurant and planned to go to his parent's house after for that big surprise.

They lived around an hour away and when we were near to their house, he explained to go to the leading door as they snuck around to surprise them. When I knocked around the door my parents, who're from Florida, answered the doorway. I immediately screamed! They then directed me via a memory-filled house to the back porch. There, I was greeted by both of our families, leading a road to Tyler. Once I reached him he explained he loved me for that first time within our whole relationship. This meant the planet to me because it was a promise that Tyler held close to his heart. After he got recorded on one knee, obviously I said YES!!!

50 in our closest friends ran from his parent's kitchen! This is a night I will truly always remember.

How have you chosen the place for your wedding? What type of venue had you been looking for?

My household is from Florida and Tyler’s household is from Alabama, so when I was picking a venue it would be a harder decision than I thought! Once we chose to have the wedding in Alabama I knew wherever I desired to have it...Stone Bridge Farms. I could not speak more highly of the venue!

They are inclusive and treat you want you are among their own. I went for any rustic chic vibe...mixing wood with golds and greenery. This venue allowed me to possess our ceremony inside a wooden chapel with sheer drapery in the ceiling. With just a brief walk right down to the reception hall, the banisters were draped in lights. The vibe was amazing.

How have you decided on your bridesmaid's dresses? Tell us about your experience at FeelTimes!

To say I was indecisive about my bridesmaid dresses was an understatement. But there is one thing which I knew, which was I knew I wanted FeelTimes dresses. I chose a neutral sand color that will compliment all my girls. They were also in a position to choose from different styles to suit each person's physique and style. I would recommend FeelTimes to anyone!

Who designed your wedding dress? Where have you got it?

The designer of my dress comes from FeelTimes. I knew that I wanted something fitted without a ton of bling. When I tried this lace wedding dress on, I lit up! I kept twirling around inside it and jumping down and up, haha.

What was your preferred part of your day?

My favorite area of the day was our reception. I loved being encompassed by people that have influenced our life. We truly danced the nighttime away! It was the very best party I have ever visited if I do say so myself haha. We are encompassed by such an amazing community of friends and family from all within the country and it had been so special to become reunited with all of them on this type of special day.

What inspired you whenever you were planning your special day?

While I did browse Pinterest for many ideas, I discontinued weddings that I had visited. I pick and chose stuff that I liked after which mashed it all together with my dreams. I love golds and greenery...very simplistic chic! I centered on gold and neutrals with a lot of flowers and greenery during my decor. My cake even had edible gold on it!

What advice have you got for other brides?

My advice for other brides would be to not stress. At the end of your day, it is just both you and your best friend making the very best covenant in your life! While this could be a stressful and hard time for many brides, I would suggest considering a deep breath, grabbing a latte, enjoy yourself getting ready with both you and your girls! Each moment takes slow since it truly passes so quickly.
