The meetings got a little testy this week and here are a few reasons why:NFL owners mad at Stan Kroenke. According , the owner is trying to renege on his promise to pay millions of dollars in relation to a lawsuit filed by the city of St. Louis against both Kroenke and the NFL. Kroenke has been covering the legal fees in the case, but he doesn't believe he's responsible for paying the settlement if the NFL loses the case. (The settlement could reach into the billions of dollars.) Kroenke is reportedly thinking about to suing the league to get out of the indemnification agreement he signed when the Rams moved out of St. Louis following the 2015 season.
