Fortnite Adds X-Men Gambit and Rogue Skins

In the X-Men comics, Gambit and Rogue share a fascinating backstory! Rogue initially appeared as a member of Mystique's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants in Avengers Annual #10. After joining the X-Men in X-Men #171, released in 1983, the character was able to atone for her past actions. While he is often connected with Gambit, Marvel's Ragin' Cajun first appeared in Uncanny X-Men Annual #14 in 1990.

The two characters rapidly established an on-again, off-again romance, which was presented in both the comics and Fox's X-Men: The Animated Series, which is thought to have played a significant influence in developing Gambit and Rogue's popularity. In 2018's X-Men: Gold #30, the two were ultimately married in the comics.

It'll be fascinating to see which other X-Men characters receive the Fortnite treatment now that Gambit and Rogue are accessible! Cyclops, Beast, Nightcrawler, Iceman, and others are among the strong candidates who have yet to be selected.
