The Air Jordan 1 Low coming The Homage In Black And White

In 2018, Jordan Brand presented the “Homage To Home” colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG, combining half of a “Chicago” with the other half of a “Bred”. A numbered version was created for friends and family, while a non-numbered model New 2021 Jordans eventually released to the public, while a Royal version was created for VIPs of the brand. That “Homage” style was never revisited until now thanks to an upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low release. Black and white tumbled leathers appear in the same mirror-image color-blocking that cuts through the toe and into the heel of the shoes. The two opposing sides and merged together through a tucked seam construction just like the originals. The white and black juxtaposition reminds us of the Air Force 1 “Scarface” that debuted back in 2006, although there’s far more contrast with this modern era style.

Nike’s “Terrascape” series is rapidly expanding, both by way of the Air Max 90 and adjacent Air Max silhouettes. And for its latest contribution Brooks Sneakers to the pack, Tinker Hatfield’s beloved design is keeping it simple with monochromatic colors. As is standard for the model, Crater Foam is encased by a translucent midsole unit, whose tread features Grind Rubber. Above, the canvas overlays and mesh base are rendered entirely in black, while white neutrals highlight the Swoosh, the heel tab, and the “Terrascape” branding that’s written across the pull tab. An additional logo also appears across the sockliner, though its much more difficult to discern thanks to the technicolor background. Enjoy a close-up look at this forthcoming Air Max 90 Terrascape right here. Sizes should appear on Nike.com and at select retailers within the next few months.

A newer proposition under the “NIKE, Inc.” banner, the Nike Air Force 1 Crater Flyknit is seemingly picking up steam ahead of summer as it’s appeared in a new “Black/Volt” colorway. While rooted in the design D.N.A. of Bruce Kilgore’s 1982 creation,Sorel Sneakers the upcoming offering updates the upper and sole unit for functional and aesthetic purposes. Flyknit construction up-top introduces improved breathability, while the Greater Foam midsole advances the Swoosh conglomerate’s “Move to Zero” sustainability initiative by up-cycling manufacturing floor leftovers. Abstract patterns make up the Air Force 1‘s knit upper, which may allude to the iguana’s camouflage-ready body given the graphic of the reptile on the sock-liners. The sneakers’ color palette and insole graphics allude to a spring or summertime launch, but also tease the possibility of a larger Nike Sportswear Collection with similar details.
