The protagonist of the Five Nights at Freddy's video game franchise spends his or her evenings working as a security guard at the pizzeria and arcade owned by Freddy Fazbear. The picture rights have been purchased by Warner Bros.

The first game in the Five Nights at Freddy's series was released in 2014, marking the beginning of the franchise. There have been 13 FNAF games released since then. Among the nine more traditional storylines, there are four spin-offs. Over the course of these 13 games, players have had a great opportunity to get insight into the world beyond the animatronics and security cameras.
